Chii just burned the cookies so bad, the whole upstairs was literally so thick with smoke we couldn't see. I lol'd until it hurt. We threw the BLACK DISCS out the back porch for some unknowing hapless raccoon to have the misfortune of happening upon.

Sometimes I love this house for the strangest reasons.
Speaking of food...
What's on your Christmas menu this year? (And where are you from?)
Could someone help translate the bold phrase for me? I am completely lost at it.
早いもので、もう今年もあとわずかとなりましたね。
最近の朝は寒くてつらいです。
仙台にいたころは東京の寒さなんて平気だったのに、
今ではもう十分つらいです。(for this one, how is 十分 used?)
最近の僕は、一生懸命やってます。
Thanks in advance.
And also, merry (early) Christmas to all.

If the GPhone (Nexus One is a stupid name) is both super-great and for TMo, I might have to stain my Apple fanboy credentials and consider it.
It's (probably intentionally) ironic that Gizmodo called it a "Droid Killer". Google isn't supposed to be sabotaging the other Android phones, least of all the flagship model. But they're clearly distancing themselves from the "open source, we're just making the OS, you guys make the phone!" MSFT-ish model, and moving towards the iPhone paradigm of one company integrating hardware and software. I suspect Google just used Motorola et al as glorified test-marketers, then moved in once the of-concept had been proofed.
Hey guys. I'm not gonna be around over the next two days, as I'm going to be spending Christmas with my family down in Knutsford. Probably won't be using the internet at all.
So before I head off, I must wish you all a very merry Christmas. I wish I'd had time to make a Christmas special this year, but with retail being as busy as it was, I simply couldn't get chance. But next year will definitely have one.
Hope you all have a safe and awesome holiday.

Stuck in the airport.
A Royal Prisoner is like an absolute carnival of failure. So far Fandor has taken the enterprising step of kidnapping himself -- by taking the place of an imprisoned king and being incredibly surprised when this PRISON DOOR doesn't open from the inside. Fantômas comes by at one point, realizes what's happened, and then basically just laughs his ass off and leaves. You and me both, Lord of Terror. You and me both.
Meanwhile, Juve has decided it would be a great idea to catch a thief by sneaking into a monarch's apartments with a loaded gun and rifling through his priceless jewels.
Before that, Fandor had been mistaken for the king of some Germanic state and kept up the ruse despite being surrounded by people who supposedly recognized the king and not speaking a word of German. It gets to the point where even Fandor is like "OK, seriously guys, wtf". It's as though a cloud of failure has descended upon Paris.
All this, and not a single act of outrageous villainy (kidnapping a king and imprisoning him until he gives up the location of his priceless diamond hardly counts. That's pedestrian villainy.) I am SO disappointed in this book so far.
MY MOM JUST BOUGHT ME THIS COAT, ASD;FLKSDFK.

We know there were a few kinks with the holiday promotion. We've been working very hard to get them ironed out. If you have a paid/permanent account, keep on sending those coupons. Here's an update:

One of my students said he wanted to become Dictator of the World when he grows up.
So I asked him what his plan of action was, and gave him suggestions to achieve his dreams more easily.
Teachers should always encourage kids to follow their dreams =3
Begone, cold! Symptoms have receded and swelled over the last week or two. I think today was the cold's Waterloo. My main symptom has been coughing, which I optimistically interpret as my body's final disinterment of pleghm and other causalities of internal bio-warfare.
If all goes well, running will resume TOMORROW. I am coming for you, half-marathon! The plague will not stop me!
I felt the sudden random urge to make some Silent Hill 4 icons 8D (No idea where that came from, it only happenes every few years that I feel like making icons lol.)
Thought I might share them with you :)

Hello and Happy Holidays, everyone! :)
I'm sending a necklace as a gift to my friend in Japan, and on the box there's a little poem written in English. It's written in cursive, so I wanted to help her out with understanding it 'cause I don't think the Japanese can read cursive English...? while practicing my Japanese. The poem says:
"Pearl of Wisdom
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away"
Now, I'm not good at translating English into poetic Japanese. :3 My guess came out as 「知恵の真珠 人生は数えきれない息吹をする事に計れない、でも、計れるのは瞬間に息
